Creative Painting for stress relief

So many people are so stressed at their jobs and I wonder if you know how care free you'd feel after painting like a child after a hard days work. Children are so care free when they draw or paint and down the road of life we become so critical of what we do and how it turns out, has to be perfect, just because we don't want any one making fun of what we just created. Art follows you though life once you have tried it and if the desire is there, you'll never get away from wanting to set by the edge of a water fall deep in the woods and marvel at how the lights and shadows are dancing around, popping up here and there. Taking the time to really listen to the sounds all around you.
My Dad never tried painting and I never got a paint brush in his hand but when Bob Ross was painting on the public PBS channel he was mesmerized watching him putting paint to the canvas with his soft voice saying in your world you might want to.........
Well this all for today I'm going to finish painting the Dixie paddle boat on slate. Drove to see the boat and getting several pictures of it so far. They haven't updated the picture of it if you did a search on the Internet. The community has raised 2000 dollars to restore the motor. If your out this way stop and take a 20 min.ride around Webster Lake in North Webster,Indiana. Make it a great day, the sun is shining here today and no more rain or wind.
